A Tsaomin Celebration.

Important Dates on the Tsaomi Calendar.
 
January 1st - The Beginning
A day for the creatures of the world to celebrate the creation of Tsoami. This includes offerings to each of the gods and the Goddess.
 
February 12th - Opposite Day
On this day, Men take a girl other than their lover out for a day to get to know them better. This is commonly preformed among friends and soon-to-be family members.
February 13th - Love Festival
Couples spend the entire day together in celebration of their love. The towns are decorated in hearts and streamers, and things heat up after the sun sets. The festival was made in honor of Kaji.
February 14th - Valentines Day
Males often give candy and other such things to their lover on this day, and pay special attention to females.
 
April 10th - Blossom Festival
All creatures who are in touch with the earth stop and admire the scenery on this day, for the flowers are in full bloom. The towns celebrate the beauty of the world they were built on.
 
June 30th - Seafoam Fesitval
The hottest day of the Tsaomin year, everyone who can flocks to the closest body of water to cool down, and seafood is the food of the day. Mermaids have been known to appear on this day when Suijin is honored.
 
July 15th - Midnight Festival
Many stay up all night and honor the force of Death and the god of it, Shinigami. The stars are the brightest on this night, and demons sometimes run amok.
 
August 10th - Breeze Festival
This festival signals the beginning of fall and winter on it's way. The wind blows while tsaomins and all creatures alike celebrate the sky and it's powers, also honoring Fuushin while eating warm food.
 
October 31st - All Souls Day
Tsoamins pray for the dead the night before and spend the entire day at home, whilst the demons and darker creatures run free over Tsoami. The Souls of the departed sometimes return on this day and depart the next day.
November 1st - Day of the Dead
The Tsoamins are free to travel outside their homes again. They travel to the graveyard where their loved ones are buried and leave them offerings of food and incense, to guide their souls back to their resting place.
 
November 30th - Mid-Day Festival
The perfect day for the inhabitants of Tsaomi to spend time with those they love, while paying tribute to the God of Light, Gyoukou.
 
December 24th - Powder Festival
Many of the inhabitants spend the day outside, wrapped up and eating warm food. The snowfall is particularly thick on this, the coldest day of the year.
December 25th - Day of the Goddess
The equivalent of Christmas in Tsaomi, gifts are given on this day, and all creatures pay tribute to Taiyoushin.
